I am a museum-trained content writer and editor in San Francisco. 

I’ve been writing stories since I learned the alphabet. My skills are informed by anthropology and folklore studies, and honed by years of educational content creation. These days, that background helps me tell accessible stories in tech.

I enjoy expansive talks, efficient meetings, and elegant solutions. I care a lot about marrying copy to graphics. I make a mean bubble diagram.

Growth Mindset

Anyone can grasp complicated ideas, given curiosity and confidence.

A growth mindset teaches that not understanding a topic is not a failure. It’s an opportunity. I learned in museums and science centers that the right approach can make any topic engaging. I apply this philosophy to my own learning process in parallel with content development.

Adaptability

Flexibility and soft skills are critical in fast-paced, mission-driven organizations.

Is it better to specialize, or to generalize? I used to give out cheeky business cards describing myself as “Jack of all trades, Master’s in folklore.” As a naturally curious person, I’ve developed broad-based skills and interests which help me tell richer stories for wider audiences.
